Geo #2 is the second of a series of 3-dimensional mixed media pieces that I have started. Rocks have been formed using a range of acrylic mediums. The colours are bright and fun – it makes a great statement piece

The edges are painted in a black which helps to create the shadows that float frames are known for.

This painting has been professionally framed by Highly Strung Picture Framing & Art Supplies in a black Float Frame. A float frame is a stylish picture framing technique that leaves a gap between the canvas and the frame. The shadow line adds depth to the image and the image appears to be floating within the frame, hence the name.
