Geo #10 is the tenth of a series of 3-dimensional mixed media pieces that I have started. Rocks have been formed using a range of acrylic mediums. The colours are rich maroon and its tints – it makes a great statement piece

The edges are painted in maroon which helps to create the shadows that float frames are known for.

This painting has been professionally framed in an Ash Float Frame. A float frame is a stylish picture framing technique that leaves a gap between the canvas and the frame. The shadow line adds depth to the image and the image appears to be floating within the frame, hence the name.
