The sixth painting in the Australian Iconic Blossoms series.
This is a contemporary semi-abstract acrylic painting of iconic Australian gum blossoms. With lovely warm leaves and cheerful red, magenta and deep yellow flowers it will brighten any room. The edges are painted in a rich brown which helps to create the shadows that float frames are known for.
This painting has been professionally framed by Highly Strung Picture Framing & Art Supplies in an Oak Float Frame. A float frame is a stylish picture framing technique that leaves a gap between the canvas and the frame. The shadow line adds depth to the image and the image appears to be floating within the frame, hence the name.
